Bañuelos Powers Battery to 12-6 Win
The MSL Charleston Battery beat the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 12-6, at MSL Dayton Ballpark. The win was due in part to shortstop Tomás Bañuelos, who was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The Dirty Reds, at 11-30, have lost 4 straight games.

With MSL Charleston leading 5-1 in the top of the fourth, Bañuelos came up to bat against MSL Dayton pitcher Yurik Elovsky. Bañuelos hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 12th home run of the season put the Battery on top, 9-1.

"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Bañuelos. "But I have better dreams after a win."
