Salinas Homers Twice in 4-2 Dirty Reds Win
Fernando Salinas was a vital contributor to the 4-2 MSL Dayton victory over MSL Charleston. The Dirty Reds shortstop went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Picking up his 4th save was 18-year old right-handed pitcher Carl van Bekenes. MSL Dayton, now 33-8, has stretched its winning streak to 19 games.

MSL Dayton took a 4-2 lead on Salinas's 15th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Bastiaan Aarden in the bottom of the eighth, propelled MSL Dayton to the win.

"It's fun coming to the ballpark," said Salinas, "when you're on this kind of roll."
