Pérez Launches 2 Dingers, But MSL Buckhead Wins
The MSL Buckhead Bowties besoiled an otherwise fine performance by MSL Nova Scotia center fielder Juan Pérez by beating the Leviathan, 8-5, at MSL Nova Scotia Ballpark. Pérez was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. MSL Buckhead reliever Roberto Romo got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Plorn Dickens was tagged with the loss. MSL Buckhead sits in 4th place in the 3L MSL at 26-16.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Hoshi Kondo? The MSL Buckhead shortstop had a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Bowties on top, 2-0. For the game, Kondo had 1 double and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said MSL Buckhead manager Jason Cease.
