Hurricanes Suffer 3-1 Road Loss
|
The MSL Kingston Ponies had to overcome a good performance from MSL Cape Coral pitcher Bart Blenkiron to claim a 3-1 win at MSL Kingston Township Ballpark. Blenkiron went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Eugene Brown was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was Juan Zamora. The Ponies sit in second place in the 3L MSL with a record of 26-16.
In the bottom of the second inning, right fielder Luwen Croonenborgh had a 2-run double for MSL Kingston. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Ponies on top, 2-0.
"I still think this team can play even better," Croonenborgh told the MSL Kingston Observer.
