Rock City 4-3 Losers to MSL Cape Coral
The MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes did just enough to sneak past the MSL Detroit Rock City, 4-3, at MSL Detroit Ballpark. MSL Cape Coral pitcher Evandro Ventura, in particular, had a standout performance. MSL Cape Coral reliever Evandro Ventura got the win, raising his record to 4-4. Jorge Sandoval was tagged with the loss. The Hurricanes are now 30-12, while the Rock City fall to 17-25.

Early in the game, third baseman Iván Gonzáles had a 2-run home run for MSL Cape Coral. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Hurricanes on top, 3-1.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Ventura.
