The home crowd had a good time watching the MSL Panama City Piranhas and MSL Dayton Dirty Reds get after it.

MSL Dayton left fielder Izo Matsumoto helped his team beat the MSL Panama City Piranhas, 5-2. Matsumoto, who is tied for 7th in the 3MSL in extra base hits with 23, went 3 for 4 for the Dirty Reds. Sébastien Lecocq picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-4. He struck out 7 in 8.2 innings.

MSL Dayton took a 5-1 lead on Matsumoto's 12th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Darge Masamba in the bottom of the seventh, propelled MSL Dayton to the win.

"We did enough to win," said Matsumoto.

MSL Dayton, with the win, climbs to 8-35.
