Riding the 2-hit performance of the 17-year old shortstop Xi-ku Jong, the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan stopped the MSL St. Louis Coeur, 11-1, in 9 innings. The winning pitcher was Simon Meilaart. His record now stands at 6-4. The left-hander went 8.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits for the Leviathan. MSL Nova Scotia has now won 7 straight.

Gill Gato cracked a home run off Alfredo Flores in the top of the second. His grand slam blast put the Leviathan on top, 4-0. In all, Gato had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"The Leviathan definitely had our number," said MSL St. Louis manager Harunobu Matsushita.
