Drooping Dirty Reds Lose 7th Straight
The MSL St. Louis Coeur defeated the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 9-7, in M3L Mexican Summer League action at MSL Dayton Ballpark. MSL St. Louis pitcher Rafael García had a standout performance. MSL St. Louis reliever Jorge Pinto picked up the win to move to 1-0. Joong Huang suffered the loss. The last-place Dirty Reds have lost 7 consecutive games.

MSL St. Louis designated hitter Kuei-lin Wang produced at a critical juncture. It happened in the top of the ninth with Yun Ran on the mound and MSL St. Louis leading 8-7. Wang drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"Rafael giving us the start that he did was huge," said MSL St. Louis manager Harunobu Matsushita.
