The MSL Dayton Dirty Reds locked up a win at MSL Dayton Ballpark, knocking off the MSL Oakland Oaks, 6-0. On the mound for MSL Dayton was left-hander Cisco Pérez. He played a major role in the triumph. Pérez picked up the win for MSL Dayton, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-7. The win gives the Dirty Reds a record of 14-30.
Wu-han Der had a big 3-run home run for the Dirty Reds in the bottom of the second inning. With MSL Dayton leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a fastball from 18-year old left-handed pitcher Jesús Robles and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Dirty Reds on top, 4-0.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said MSL Dayton manager Owen Kieffer.
