The timely hitting of Sung-ho Yi helped the MSL Panama City Piranhas down the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 9-6. Yi was 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Piranhas. Pavol Slimak got the win, improving to 4-5. He worked 6 innings, giving up 6 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. MSL Panama City, with the win, is 14-30.

In the top of the seventh, the Piranhas grabbed the lead when Yi hit his 4th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Ricardo Arroyo made it 7-5, MSL Panama City.
