Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Tony García the MSL Long Island Lighthouse defeated the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes, 6-1. Ken'ichi Adachi got the win, improving to 5-7. He worked 8.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. MSL Long Island has won 4 consecutive games.

With MSL Long Island leading 2-0 in the top of the third, García hit a fastball from Bart Blenkiron for a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Lighthouse ahead, 5-0.
