Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan got the win.

MSL Long Island got a big-time effort from pitcher Gijsbert Arents, but it wasn't enough to keep the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan from winning the game, 4-2. Arents threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Uku Willa closed the door for MSL Nova Scotia, picking up his 1st save of the year.

MSL Nova Scotia used the clutch hitting of José Herrera to snag the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Leviathan ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a crucial one.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Herrera.
