Oaks Rally For Late Win Over Leviathan
MSL Oakland Oaks starter Ed Alvarado pitched a strong game against the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan at MSL Nova Scotia Ballpark, leading the Oaks to victory, 5-2. Lorenzo Valéncia got credit for the win, improving to 3-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 1.1 innings. The Oaks have an impressive 29-17 record.

Noud Wolthaus came through with a big-time hit for MSL Oakland. The center fielder smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Alvarado told the MSL Oakland Citizen.
