|
Tom Morris came out firing strikes and, when the game ended, the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes hurler had struck out 10, leading MSL Cape Coral past the MSL Toronto Thunder, 2-0. Morris allowed just 6 hits in the ballgame.
"I'm glad that one is in the rearview mirror," said MSL Toronto manager Jake Grant.
Up to now Morris has compiled an ERA of 2.20 with a 8-2 mark over 13 starts. He has 79 strikeouts in 94 innings and has held opponents to a .231 batting average.
