MSL Kingston Township Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
A 4-RBI performance from left fielder Richard Garibaldi, who is tied for 10th in the 3MSL in triples with 2, led the MSL Kingston Township Knights to a win over the MSL Charleston Battery, 6-5. The winner was MSL Kingston Township reliever Mark Horton, now 7-0. The loser was Vladmir Pafov. The second-place Knights have won 4 straight games.
The decisive blow was delivered by Timothy Boyd in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 17-year old right-handed pitcher Vladmir Pafov to win the game for MSL Kingston Township. The home crowd went nuts.
"You look inside of the game, it's just quality approach after quality approach," said Knights manager Dan Taylor.
