Behind a fine performance from Júlio Figueroa, the MSL Kingston Ponies knocked off the MSL Charleston Battery, 11-1. Figueroa went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Ponies. MSL Kingston is 22-24 and MSL Charleston, with the loss, 24-22.

The Ponies got an important contribution from shortstop Benjamin Lovibond, who in the bottom of the third hit a cutter to right-center for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the Ponies ahead, 7-0.
