MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes starter Fernando Hernández pitched his team past the MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 10-1. With the victory, the Hurricanes record stands at 19-28.

MSL Cape Coral used a well-timed hit by Yu-bao Huang to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Hurricanes ahead, 5-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said MSL Thunder Bay manager Jurg Ursin. "They pounded us."
