Hurricanes Defeat Northern Lions BC, 5-4
|
MSL Cape Coral Ballpark was the site of an exciting ballgame between the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes and MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC.
The MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes racked up a win at MSL Cape Coral Ballpark, bumping off the MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 5-4, in 10 innings. Nando Arnoldi, who started for MSL Cape Coral, pitched effectively for his team. MSL Cape Coral has a record of 28-20, placing them 5th in the 3L MSL.
The clutch hit was provided by Carlos Silva. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off José Machado in the bottom of the tenth.
In comments to the MSL Cape Coral Times, Silva admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
