MSL Long Island picked up a win at MSL Long Island Ballpark, bumping off the MSL Charleston Battery, 5-4. Pitcher Ken'ichi Adachi was a major reason the Lighthouse emerged victorious. Adachi yielded 3 runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 4, and struck out 2. His record improves to 6-7. The save went to Duk-yeo Yo, number 9 for him.

In the bottom of the first, the Lighthouse took the lead, 2-0, when 16-year old catcher Masujiro Ishii drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
