Ponies Deny Billy Goats, 4-3

Kanvar Prashanth did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the MSL Colorado Billy Goats from being beaten, 4-3, to the MSL Kingston Ponies at MSL Kingston Township Ballpark. Prashanth was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. The winner was Conor Bartram, who threw 96 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 3 hits. Jaime Soto earned his 2nd save, after closing out the game.
The Ponies got a big at-bat from first baseman Koki Sasaki, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Ponies on top, 4-1.
Sasaki attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
After today's action, MSL Kingston sits at 13-35, while MSL Colorado falls to 29-19.
