At MSL Panama City Ballpark, the MSL Panama City Piranhas and MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves downed the MSL Panama City Piranhas, 12-5, at MSL Panama City Ballpark. Martial Barattin led the way, going 2-for-5 for MSL Vancouver. The winner was Naomichi Ota, who threw 90 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 5 runs on 8 hits.

MSL Vancouver catcher Manny Cruz contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 22nd hit of the season and put the Grey Wolves ahead, 4-3.

"The key is not trying to do too much," said Barattin.

At 10-7, the Grey Wolves claim second place in the SL MSL.
