Blue Demons Pick Up 4-3 Win
MSL Long Island second baseman Mike Potter had a good game, even if his team did not. The Lighthouse dropped a 4-3 decision to MSL Mexico City at MSL Long Island Ballpark. Potter went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Victor Soto picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-1 on the season. He struck out 6 and walked 1 in 5 innings, while yielding 3 runs. The 8th-place Blue Demons now sit at 8-9.

Tim Witney had a timely hit in the top of the fifth inning. With one out and the bases loaded, the MSL Mexico City first baseman hit a run-scoring single. That put the Blue Demons in front, 4-3.
