Bryant Excels, But Flamingos Win
Despite a fine performance by designated hitter Jon Bryant, the MSL Memphis Mockingbirds lost to the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos, 9-8. Bryant went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Jesús López earned the save, his 3rd, for the Flamingos. At 11-7, the Flamingos are currently 4th in the SL MSL.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Flamingos grabbed the lead when Stanton Winter rapped a two-out home run. MSL Las Vegas was trailing 6-4, when Winter hit a 3-run home run off Carlos Herrera to put his team in front, 7-6.

"What a game," said Winter. "We needed every last run."
