Gallis Hits 2 home runs in Cattlemen Win
|
The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen beat the MSL Montana Pandas, 8-1, at MSL Montana Ballpark. The win was due in part to shortstop Serafim Gallis, who hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The Pandas, now 9-10, have lost 4 in a row.
Gabriele Franciosa drove in one run for MSL Ft. Worth. The 17-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Kevin Thompson. It was his 9th RBI of the season.
"It was a tough day, no getting around it," said losing manager Mario Ruíz.
