Pandas Lose, 5-3, as Cattlemen Rally
The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen defeated the MSL Montana Pandas, 5-3, in USSL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Montana Ballpark. MSL Ft. Worth pitcher Rodrigo Morán had a standout performance. Getting the save was José Valéncia, his 5th. MSL Ft. Worth is now 10-11. MSL Montana is 10-11.

MSL Ft. Worth used the timely hitting of Andrés Calderón to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Cattlemen on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It was a solid team effort," Calderón said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
