Castro Stars as Flamingos Top Elite, 8-4
|
Luis Castro was a vital contributor to the 8-4 MSL Las Vegas victory over MSL Detroit. The Flamingos right fielder went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Stanley Daniel, the winning pitcher, is now 3-2. He went 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits, while fanning 0 and walking 2. Jesús López closed it out for MSL Las Vegas, earning his 4th save.
Castro came through for MSL Las Vegas with two out in the bottom of the fourth. With MSL Las Vegas trailing 4-3, Castro hit a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Flamingos up, 7-4.

After today's action, MSL Las Vegas sits at 13-8; MSL Detroit slips to 7-14.
