Lakers Suffer 6-4 Loss to Lighthouse
|
Despite a fine performance by left fielder Grigorii Chasovschikov, the MSL Echo Park Lakers lost to the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, 6-4. Chasovschikov was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Earning his 1st save of the year was Duk-yeo Yo. The Lighthouse improved their record to 9-12 by beating MSL Echo Park.
An inflection point occurred with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Lighthouse catcher Miguel Pérez hit a sinker from José Chavarría for a grand slam home run. Just like that, MSL Long Island was up, 6-3.
"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Pérez.
