White Walkers Suffer 6-5 Road Loss
|
The MSL Montana Pandas and MSL Buffalo White Walkers obliged fans looking for a good time.
Despite a fine performance by left fielder Alberto Ruíz, the MSL Buffalo White Walkers lost to the MSL Montana Pandas, 6-5. Ruíz was 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk. Bernardo Francioni was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Héctor López. Máximo Delgado earned the save for MSL Montana.
Leroy Zwijnenburg was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for MSL Montana. The 18-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Joel Gray. It was his 9th RBI of the season.
"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Zwijnenburg.
The last-place Pandas own a record of 5-18.
