MSL Philadelphia got a decent performance from pitcher Bill Griggs, but it wasn't enough to beat the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos. MSL Las Vegas won the MSL Liberty Ballpark contest, 3-2. Griggs threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball for the losing team. Earning his 5th save of the year was Jesús López. MSL Las Vegas has now won 3 straight, while the Liberty have lost 3 in a row.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Flamingos had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the top of the fifth, when designated hitter Yuan Huang hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Bill Griggs and made the score 3-2, Flamingos. Huang went 2 for 3 with 2 singles.

After the game, MSL Las Vegas manager Augusto Pérez applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
