Lakers Win Nail-Biter
Behind a fine performance from Phil Edney, the MSL Echo Park Lakers knocked off the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers in 10 innings, 5-4. Edney was 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Lakers. MSL Echo Park sits in 7th place in the SL MSL at 9-15.

The Lakers relied on shortstop Orlando Arminderiz for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," MSL Pittsburgh manager Ricky Miller said, following the tough loss.
