The MSL Montana Pandas weathered a fine game by MSL Buffalo catcher Rex Matheson to upend the White Walkers, 4-2, at MSL Montana Ballpark. Matheson was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Nicolas Charles snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Dani Comadurán suffered the loss. Iestyn Covenay nailed down his 3rd save.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Pandas grabbed the lead when Gabriel Rodríguez rapped a two-out double. MSL Montana was trailing 2-1, when Rodríguez hit a bases-clearing double off Dani Comadurán to put his team in front, 4-2.

Rodríguez attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."

The Pandas now have a record of 6-18.
