Gonzáles Powers Billy Goats to 6-3 Win
|
The MSL Colorado Billy Goats dealt the MSL Montana Pandas a 6-3 loss at MSL Montana Ballpark. Francisco Gonzáles, who is tied for 4th in the SMSL in extra base hits with 12, was the star on offense. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Carl Cook earned the save, his 3rd. With the win, MSL Colorado goes to 13-11, while the Pandas fall to 8-16.
MSL Colorado used a clutch hit from Raúl Badillo to get the win. The shortstop drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Billy Goats ahead, 6-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Badillo told the MSL Colorado Herald.
