Lighthouse Win, 6-4, at MSL Baltimore
The MSL Long Island Lighthouse had to overcome a big game from MSL Baltimore first baseman José Guzmán to leave MSL Baltimore Ballpark with a victory. And they did, winning, 6-4. Guzmán went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. John Reed earned the save for MSL Long Island, his 8th of the year. The defeat makes MSL Baltimore 17-12.

The Lighthouse got an important contribution from shortstop Juan Cruz, who in the top of the fifth knocked a 3-1 fastball to center for a 2-run double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Lighthouse ahead, 6-2.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Cruz. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
