Lakers Rally Late to Nip Grey Wolves
|
The MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves got a superb performance from pitcher Wes Crowe. Still, it wasn't enough to beat MSL Echo Park. The Lakers won the game, 2-1. Crowe threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. The Lakers are now 14-15.
MSL Echo Park used the hitting of Ron Cotton to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Lakers on top, 2-1. For the game, Cotton had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
"That was fun, that was just good baseball," said Cotton.
