MSL Montana Ballpark hosted a real pitchers' duel.
The MSL Panama City Piranhas claimed a close win over the MSL Montana Pandas, due in large part to Jeremy Clarke. The MSL Panama City left-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. Guy Harris locked down his 3rd save.
MSL Panama City used a well-timed hit by Germán Sánchez to capture the win. The third baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Piranhas ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said MSL Panama City manager Cody Blackburn.
MSL Panama City sits in 4th place in the SL MSL at 17-13.
