Liberty Take Down Cattlemen, 8-6
The MSL Philadelphia Liberty overcame a pretty good performance by MSL Ft. Worth pinch hitter Matt MacGruder, beating the Cattlemen, 8-6, in 12 innings. MacGruder was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Their 20-10 record puts the Liberty second in the SL MSL.

Bill Hendricks had the most critical at-bat for MSL Philadelphia. With two in the top of the 12th inning, Hendricks hit a first pitch fastball from Elia Clarici for a run-scoring single. It put MSL Philadelphia in front, 7-6.

"I like to keep things lively in the clubhouse," said Hendricks. "Believe me, it's much easier after a win."
