Flamingos Take Down Lakers, 7-6
The MSL Las Vegas Flamingos overcame a pretty good performance by MSL Echo Park left fielder Grigorii Chasovschikov, beating the Lakers, 7-6, in 12 innings. Chasovschikov hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The winner was MSL Las Vegas reliever Monzaemon Imai, now 1-0. The loser was Rehor Podhola. With the win over MSL Echo Park, the Flamingos improved to 20-13.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Luis Castro in the bottom of the 12th. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 17-year old left-handed pitcher Rehor Podhola to win it for MSL Las Vegas and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Castro.
