The MSL Toledo Stingers cruised to a win over the MSL Panama City Piranhas, 14-2, at MSL Toledo Ballpark. Tomás Guzmán, who is tied for 5th in the SMSL in hits with 51, led the way, going 4-for-4 for MSL Toledo. Pepe Valentín, the winner, improved to 4-4. He held MSL Panama City to 1 run on 4 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. The Stingers, at 18-18, sit in 6th place in the SL MSL.

Luis Jiménez had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for MSL Toledo. With the bases loaded and the Stingers leading 2-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"The effort wasn't good enough," said losing manager Tyrone Poole.
