Ishii hits 2 home runs to Fuel Lighthouse Offense
Getting offensive support from Masujiro Ishii, the MSL Long Island Lighthouse topped the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos, 7-6. Ishii belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Lighthouse. MSL Long Island reliever Min-jae Im snagged the win, upping his record to 1-2. Hyo-cheong So shouldered the loss. Carlos Ruíz earned the save for MSL Long Island, his 14th of the year.

MSL Long Island used the timely hitting of Sergio Benítez to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lighthouse on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Ishii.

MSL Long Island now sits at 24-14, while MSL Las Vegas falls to 19-19.
