The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen beat the MSL Panama City Piranhas, 6-4, at MSL Panama City Ballpark. MSL Ft. Worth third baseman Matt MacGruder had the hot bat. He was 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Elia Clarici picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-5. Tatsui Onodera suffered the loss. The Cattlemen go to 14-26 with the win.
MSL Ft. Worth took advantage of an error in the top of the tenth inning. The game was tied, 4-4, when Hsi-men Lai hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Cattlemen in front, 5-4.
"Our guys refused to lose," said MacGruder.
