Pandas catcher Jason Lowe left his mark on his team's 5-2 win over the MSL Echo Park Lakers. Lowe, who leads the SMSL with a .743 slugging percentage, went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for MSL Montana in the contest. MSL Montana reliever Juan Fuentes picked up the win, upping his record to 5-2. Luis Torrez took the loss. Picking up the save was 19-year old left-handed pitcher Albert Márquez.

Carlos Budd came through with a big-time hit for MSL Montana. The second baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Lowe.

MSL Echo Park now owns a losing streak of 5 games.
