Lakers Get Thrilling 4-3 Win
The MSL Echo Park Lakers overcame a pretty good performance by MSL Montana first baseman Ze-dong Sa, beating the Pandas, 4-3, in 10 innings. Sa went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. MSL Echo Park reliever José Chavarría snagged the win, upping his record to 3-5. Juha Vihavainen shouldered the loss. The Lakers move to 19-23 with the win, while the Pandas drop to 19-23.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 18-year old right fielder Paul Grimwade had a chance to be the hero. MSL Montana pitcher Juha Vihavainen had other ideas. But with one out, Grimwade hit a sacrifice fly. The Lakers had themselves a dramatic win.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Grimwade said.
