Kingfishers Need Extra Innings to Top Cattlemen, 5-3
The timely hitting of Ramiro Ramírez helped the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers take down the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 5-3, in 10 innings. Ramírez went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Kingfishers. The Kingfishers, now 28-18, have won 4 in a row.

MSL Pittsburgh used the timely hitting of Cheuk-yan Loong to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Kingfishers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Kingfishers manager Ricky Miller.
