Grey Wolves Come Up Short at MSL Montana, 3-2
|
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the MSL Montana Pandas and MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves.
MSL Montana parlayed a decent outing from starter Orinosuke Hatsutori into a solid win over the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves. The final score was 3-2. Juan Navarro picked up his 3rd save of the season.
Guarçia Solano had a big 2-run home run for the Pandas in the bottom of the sixth inning. With MSL Montana trailing 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from António Calderón, who is tied for 4th in the SMSL in complete games with 1, and punished it. The result was his 8th home run of the season, which put the Pandas on top, 3-2.
Solano told a MSL Montana Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
MSL Montana has now won 3 in a row.
