Carl Rønningen did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the MSL Mexico City Blue Demons an extra-inning, 4-3 loss to the MSL Philadelphia Liberty at MSL Liberty Ballpark. Rønningen was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. With the win, MSL Philadelphia pushed its record to 23-23.

The Liberty got a clutch hit from third baseman Ric Sbarro. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Liberty.

"That game was intense," Sbarro said.
