A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves and MSL Las Vegas Flamingos.

MSL Vancouver beat MSL Las Vegas on the strength of starting pitcher Rafael Zúñiga's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. The save was credited to Ebbe Oude Nijhuis, his 3rd.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when shortstop Vicente Vega hit a double. The Grey Wolves went on to win.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Vega, "one at-bat at a time."

With the win, MSL Vancouver goes to 23-24, while the Flamingos fall to 27-20.
