Gillespie Leads Stingers to 10-4 Win Over Liberty
The MSL Toledo Stingers beat the MSL Philadelphia Liberty by a score of 10-4. MSL Toledo second baseman Dennis Gillespie deserved the lion's share of the credit. Gillespie went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a triple, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Stingers. Juan Zamora notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 3.1 innings. His record now sits at 3-1. MSL Toledo has 3 straight wins, MSL Philadelphia 3 straight losses.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Stingers grabbed the lead when Gillespie hit his 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Nam-june Park made it 4-3, MSL Toledo.
