Led by Ju-chan Song, the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers defeated the MSL Memphis Mockingbirds, 7-5. Song went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Kingfishers. Måns Goos picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-2. Héctor Rodríguez was tagged with the loss. The 5th-place Kingfishers have a record of 26-22.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 18-year old third baseman Alfons Arnesen. Arnesen had a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Kingfishers ahead, 6-5. For the game, Arnesen had 2 doubles and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
