Catcher Bryan Spilsbury made an impact for Philadelphia, when he swatted a 2-run double off Caleb Bullock in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Spilsbury was 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"They say the first rule of the playoffs is to win the home games," Xú said afterward. "It feels nice, but it is kind of what we were supposed to do."
