Eric Buchanan, who led the PL in wins with 15 in 2057, never let the White Walkers get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Patriots to a win, 4-0. Buchanan, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks. The win has Boston at 2-0.

In the bottom of the second inning, catcher Lance Slaymaker had a 2-run home run for Boston. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Patriots on top, 2-0.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Buchanan. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
