Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Las Vegas Flamingos and Detroit Rock City.
The Las Vegas Flamingos, despite a fine performance by Detroit pitcher Javier Dávila, grabbed a 3-0 win at Detroit Stadium. Dávila allowed 3 runs over 8 innings. Detroit's current losing streak is now 5 games.
Richard Clift, who is tied for 9th in the SL in home runs with 13, had a direct impact on the outcome. Clift contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Las Vegas up, 2-0.
