With the game tied, 1-1, in the top of the sixth, García had a key at-bat for Colorado. With runners on 1st and 2nd, García hit a 3-run home run off Bryan Massey, making the score 4-1, Billy Goats.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," García told a Colorado Observer reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
