With no one out in the top of the seventh, Mike McKinney barreled up a slider from Craig Smith. The result was a 3-run home run, putting the Rainbow Mermaids in front, 8-1.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," McKinney told the Northern Virginia Observer.
