Shimizu, Grey Wolves Sink Voodoo Again in Game 2
Riding the 2-hit performance of second baseman Sumitomo Shimizu, the Vancouver Grey Wolves got a road win against the New Orleans Voodoo, 6-3, in Game 2 of the ToC Semi-Finals today. Shimizu was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Grey Wolves, who now lead the best-of-5 series, 2 games to 0.

The Grey Wolves took a 4-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning. Facing New Orleans hurler Anthony Coleman with two outs, Shimizu hit a 3-run home run.

"We lost," New Orleans manager Chase Sims said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."

Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday at Wolf Den in Vancouver in Vancouver.
