Ft. Worth Takes 2-1 Lead in ToC First Round
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen moved to within one game of the ToC Semi-Finals today, downing the Detroit Elite on the road at Detroit Stadium by a score of 6-5. Cattlemen right fielder Dhataki Pummy was 3 for 5 with 2 triples and a double. He drove in 4 runs. The win gives the Cattlemen a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 ToC First Round.

The most crucial at-bat for Ft. Worth came in the top of the ninth inning. That's when Pummy stroked a full count fastball to right-center for a 2-run triple, putting Ft. Worth up, 6-5.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Ft. Worth manager Scott Thompson.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Detroit Stadium in Detroit.
