The Vancouver Grey Wolves beat the Montana Pandas, 7-4, at Wolf Den in Vancouver. Vancouver third baseman Efren Alog, who is tied for 10th in the SL in hits with 85, collected 2 singles and 1 double with 2 runs batted in. Brad Carter, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 17th save. Montana now owns a losing streak of 5 games.
Matt Turner was 1 for 4 with a walk against the Pandas. With the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Vancouver in front, 4-3.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Turner. "You've got to get results."
