García, Rhinos Wallop Beavers in Game 1 of R1
The Redwood Rhinos topped the Northwest Territory Beavers, 7-0, in Game 1 of the PL R Championchip. Bartolo García was a big contributor. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The win puts Redwood up, 1-0, in the series.

García hit a grand slam home run in the bottom of the first to help the Redwood cause. The home run, which was hit off Jay Keirl, allowed Redwood to take a 4-0 lead.

"A great game, a great day," said García about the win. "I can't complain."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Zoo in Redwood City.
