González Blasts Baby Blues, Beavers Take Game 2, 6-3
Ballard center fielder Ricardo González was the difference-maker for the Beavers in what turned into a shootout with the Quebec City Baby Blues. González earned accolades after going 2-for-4 in the 6-3 Beavers win. With the victory, the Beavers moved into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-3 series.

González had a consequential at-bat in the bottom of the fourth for the Beavers. Coming up with a runner on 1st and Ballard trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run home run.

"I believe in our guys," said Ballard skipper Giddy Potts. "I like the energy they're playing with."

Game 3 is scheduled for Thursday at Dylan Park in Quebec City.
