Baby Lakers Triumph in 2060 3L R Championship
The Bompton Baby Lakers ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish 1-0 to win the 3L R Championship.

Bompton won the series 2-1, capturing the title for the 2nd time.

"We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Bompton manager Tyrone Poole. "It's a great feeling."

The champs finished the regular season 62-35 and claimed second place in the Menard's Low A.

In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and catcher Arthur Cantrell said the Baby Lakers have "great fans and they deserve this."

"I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
