Thanks in large part to center fielder Panagiotis Solomonidis, the Las Vegas Flamingos beat the Philadelphia Liberty, 9-3. Solomonidis was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3. The 9th-place Flamingos are 33-45.

Ricardo Flores had a big hit for Las Vegas in the bottom of the eighth inning. With Las Vegas leading 6-3, Flores hit a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Flamingos up, 9-3.
